HUNT FOR U-479 Documentary Film Application uncovers the 60-year old Baltic Sea Mystery. Two Finnish filmmakers team up with divers from Sweden, Finland and England and go in search of a WWII German U-Boat that disappeared in the Baltic Sea.
The U-479 was a German U-boat that went missing on 15th November 1944, in the Gulf of Finland. Soviet sources claimed that the Soviet submarine Lembit sank the boat, but the official story has never been considered a satisfactory explanation.

Travelling 10,000 miles by car around the Baltic Sea they explore coastal towns and far away islands.
They interview maritime archaeologists, historians and experts and hear stories of Vikings, pirates, Teutonic knights and famous maritime disasters.
