Best Baby Names is a great app to find out the most popular baby names around, bookmark them, and email them to yourself and your friends in order to get just the right name for your bouncing bundle of joy!
Welcome to Best Baby Names!
This application shows you the most popular baby names and gives you the ability to quickly sort them alphabetically or based on popularity. You can also bookmark any name for easy access later as you narrow down what your bundle of joy will be named on your special day.
Usage:
On the Names page, first select between Boys names and Girls names. This will bring up the appropriate page of names. You can then scroll through the list or use the indexing feature on the right hand side of the screen to quickly scan through the sections of names.
Clicking on any name will bring up a dialogue box that allows you to bookmark that name for future easy reference. Once you have bookmarked all the names you are interested in, you can change over to the Bookmarks tab and quickly see them all at once. The names are separated into two categories: Boys and Girls.
You can swipe a Bookmark to bring up its Delete button or press the Edit button and then click on the red dot next to a Bookmark to bring up its Delete button as well. Clicking the Delete button for any name will remove it from your Bookmarks list. You may add it again in the future using the same procedure described above.
You may also select any Bookmark in your Bookmark list and bring up a dialogue box that gives you the option to email either this name or all of your saved names to anyone you want. You can email your saved names to yourself for reference, to your spouse for comparison, or to your friends to brag about the amazing name you just found for your coming bundle of joy.
The Settings page gives you the ability to resort the Names pages and the Bookmarks page based on 2008 Popularity Ranking or Alphabetical Order. Each setting has its own indexing on the main names page. Ranking index is based on ranking number and Alphabetical index is based on first letter of the name.
