\”The Picture of Dorian Gray\”

Written by Oscar Wilde and published in 1890, this is the only published novel by Wilde.

The basis of the novel is that Dorian has a painting of himself in the attic that ages in place of him, leaving him to lead a life of hedonism and debauchery but it ends in tragedy.
