This is it. Movie Ranker. The App Stores most TEDIOUS app.
Seriously - unless you're a relentless movie fanatic, this thing will drive you batty. And even if you ARE a relentless movie fanatic, it still might drive you batty.
The goal here, of course, was not to drive people batty. This is a tool I developed for myself to create my own rankings of movies I've seen, based on various criteria and qualities.
It got out of hand.
The crux of the problem is that each movie you've ever seen needs to be compared to every other movie you've ever seen, along multiple quality scales, for the thing to produce meaningful results. It could take a LONG time to make all those comparisons.
Still, if your brain works like mine does, and you want to create personalized, hyper-accurate rankings of movies you've seen (and you have a lot of free time on your hands), this app is for you. You might be surprised to see which movies bubble up to the top of your lists.
