I recently learned that my British husband wouldnt be allowed to apply for a green card because the US Federal Government doesnt recognize our marriage. Although we have yet to be united, the saddest part is that we arent the only ones going through this. Over 30,000 same-sex couples are being kept apart, and even more are denied basic rights. It is because of this that I decided to see what has happened around the world in regards to gay rights.
This app includes over 150 LGBT historical events, places, and influential people and a forum in which new stories can be added, allowing the amount of information to grow every day, so people can think more carefully in the future about equality.
