Weve created a method that calculates a FanMisery.com Index (FMI) based on relative strengths of a unique set of statistics and opinions. The FMI is conceptually similar to the S&P 500 Index its a value between 0 and 10 where 0 indicates bliss and 10 represents the ultimate misery that you as a fan could ever envision.

The Blue Jackets FMI is calculated daily throughout the season and off-season! Statistics are updated after each game during the season. Opinions are updated daily throughout the year based on your votes you are the fan! News is updated in real time directly from a variety of national and local newspapers, broadcast media, and blogs.
