Trademark Legal Coach is a guide for business owners to understand the basics of federal trademark registration.
Included are the complete statutes and rules that govern trademark registration and law in the United States: U.S. Code (Title 15) and Code of Federal Regulations (Title 37, Parts 2, 6 & 7).
The most important provisions have been organized into a helpful Registration Guide for (1) Search & Classification, (2) Application, (3) Drawing, (4) Specimens, (5) Post Registration & Renewal, (6) Fees, (7) Types of Registration, (8) Service Marks, and (9) Infringement.
Part 2 of the CFR is the Trademark Rules and provide detailed procedure for statutory requirements. For example, 15 USC 1051 states that the applicant shall submit the number of specimens as required by the Director. 37 CFR 2.56 defines what is a specimen (i.e. label, tag, or container for the goods, or a display associated with the goods) and size constraints.
Flip between three tabs (Guide, Statute, and CFR) to read up to three different statutes/rules without scrolling back.
