In a trip, did you and your friends ever pay different things for different sub-group of people? After coming back, you all have a headache with the receipts and bills. It is hard to figure out the cost of each person, and who should pay back to whom for how much.
SplitExpense is a convenient tool to figure them all out. It suggests an exact payment plan for everyone to balance everyone's expense sheet.
Usually a group event, such as a ski trip, includes a number of activities involved with expense/cost. Everyone keeps his/her receipts. After the whole event is done, you all sit together to go through the receipts, and calculate how much was paid and how much was shared for each participant, furthermore who should pay whom for how much, in order to even out the bill. Because a participant may pay for a different subset of participants, in different activity, the calculation could be a painful experience.
SplitExpense makes it easy. Just simply create an event for your trip, saying ski trip, and enter the information of each receipt: who paid how much to whom. In the end, all you need to do is to click the Calculate button. You will get all the numbers, the actual amount paid and shared for each person.
