Consumers are used to having their smartphones perform spectacular
feats that carmakers decided have realized that they should put some
of that magic on wheels. Carmakers such as Ford, GM, and Mercedez-Benz
are a few who will have apps available that will integrate wireless communications
with onboard technology. Mobile apps will be available for The Apple iPhone, RIM’s
BlackBerrys and Motorola’s Droid phones.
