This app simulates the Atoms in an ideal gas. It uses the real Newton's laws of motion: Conservation of Momentum and Energy. Shows that this results in PV=nRT.
The top chamber is hot. Use hot finger/cold finger menu items to heat and cool each chamber.

Spent a few minutes and I understand basic physics. Don't see the objective. Temps change and then......nothing l

It's a great but simple simulation. Options let you raise or lower the temperature of either side. Good visual interactive sim for physics novices.

Nice demo of the ideal gas law. Could this app be open sourced? With come changes it could make a good teaching aid.
