One of the apps in an Andoird user’s wish list came true this month when GetGlue app became available in the market officially. GetGlue, with the launch of an Android app and mobile website, offers social network services by showing ratings and recommendations of movies, books, restaurants, stocks, and many more.
For the newbies, GetGlue works like this: First, you need to download the GetGlue browser add-on so that when you visit pages about music, books, movies, and others, you can click the thumbs up (like) or thumbs down (dislike). GetGlue will be able to make suggestions based on your likes and dislikes. It also works to share your likes and dislikes to friends while it allows you to subscribe to your Twitter and Facebook contacts.
By using GetGlue, you earn stickers that show the types of entertainment you like. Do your check-ins every time you give your feedback like while reading a book or watching a movie. Once you have proven yourself to be an authority on certain aspects of entertainment, you’ll be regarded as a Guru and earn the Guru “Special Powers”.
