Block Ten is a modification of the classic 4 by 5 sliding block puzzle (Dads puzzle, Pennant puzzle, Century puzzle, Klotski, LAne Rouge, Hua Rong Dao, Hakoiri Musume, etc) created by Minoru Abe.
The basic puzzle is modified by adding two L shaped pieces and allowing use of 2 extra spaces at the bottom center. Even though there are more spaces to work with, these puzzles are inherently more difficult because of the L shaped pieces.
The goal is simple, get the large piece out the bottom by sliding pieces out of the way. Like most great puzzles, its apparent simplicity belies the difficulty. These puzzles are killer, I mean really difficult. Dont waste your time with these unless you are an experienced puzzle solver, youll just get frustrated!
So, if you are up for a challenge, this is your game. If youve master 4 by 5 sliding block games, and think theyre for wussies, think again. Block Ten takes it to a whole new level.
