Our company used the Consumer Deks in a study of 276 diabetics with HgBA1'c greater than 10. We sent every other patient a Dek along with a phone number to call for follow up questions. We followed their A1C's for a year afterward and realized a drop on average of 3 points in A1C results. The results speak for themselves. The Deks are an immensely helpful tool in good diabetes management and a \"must have\" for PCP's to manage diabetic population.
