Description
Thank you for taking a look at ColorIt! Take a picture with the iPhones camera or select a picture from your photo library. ColorIt! will transform this picture into a paint by numbers style of canvas. Just select the color you wish to use, and then tap the screen to apply the color.
ColorIt! comes with 8 different coloring pallets, each with 6 different colors to choose from. You can also control the canvas. Turn the segment outlines on or off. Adjust the background image's transparency, or turn it off completely.
It's simple and fun. Colorize images of your friends, or produce a quick piece of abstract art. When you're done, save your masterpiece back to your photo library. You can then sync it to your computer or e-mail it to a friend.

Most of the processing is too intense for mobile devices, but the output was cool and fun to mess with. We decided it would be cool if we scaled down the algorithm in order to put it on the iPhone.
