Description
Welcome to the app where fantasy nudges ever so gently against reality.
This is Trollwatch, the story of trolls and where you can find them worldwide.
Here youll find a kleptomaniac troll who steals teddy bears and dolls from children in Ireland, a 13 foot tall forest troll who lives in the middle of urban Chicago, a three headed rock troll who lives in the Pyrenees Mountains and whose singing is so bad the Spanish army once considered using it as a weapon or the forest troll in Somerset who is so loved by the locals that they leave out food packages for her in the cold winter months.
This is the first app by Trollwatch International, a global organisation founded in 1983 and now located in 53 countries all around the world. The purpose of Trollwatch is to search for and protect all the worlds more than 2000 trolls regardless of their temperament, intelligence and locality.
OUR MISSION STATEMENT:
* Trollwatch will locate, identify and strive to protect all the worlds trolls.
* Trollwatch will seek to educate the worlds human population about trolls and undertake to find equitable solutions to any conflicts that may arise from close interaction between the two races.
* Trollwatch will seek to conserve troll habitats worldwide.
* Trollwatch will make all of its observations, research and findings available to the general public worldwide in the hope of fostering understanding and tolerance of trolls.
To this end Trollwatch has developed this app to assist in the understanding of trolls. To say that to know about trolls is to love them is stretching the truth a bit (well a lot really) but there is undeniably a fascination about these huge, compelling and generally quite stupid creatures.
This app is essentially a glimpse of the upcoming Trollwatch book, the sequel to Goblins:The Outer Realm (2006) and The Secret Book of Trolls (2008). For more information on trolls or for free troll images or even to join Trollwatch click on the Trollwatch International website link below.
